Just look at the tape in the store and if it looks like mesh then don't buy it. I would err on the side of caution and not use highly breathable tapes like MEDIpore. It's so restrictive it's actually hard to tell if it's breathable or not until you compare it to masking tape, then you realize that there is some breathability in MICROpore, just a very small degree). MICROpore - On the other hand, MICROpore is basically a woven paper tape that is very very minimally breathable (if you tape up your mouth it's barely able to be breathed through, you can barely notice. MEDIpore - Them problem with tapes like MEDIpore is that they are made of a fabric mesh and are designed to be HIGHLY breathable (you can tape up your mouth and literally breath right through it with very little effort). I have a lot of different medical tapes in a bag because I was a caregiver for 15 years so I did a little experimenting with breathability. I know your post is 3 months old but I'm posting this for others who may find it helpful. 90 Second Mycology's alternative Video Version of Part 4, Harvesting Straight From the UB Bag ShroomScout's official video version of Part 4 ?
